Berkeley grew up in New York City, graduated from the Horace Mann School in Riverdale, NY, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University (Questrom School of Business), and graduated Cum Laude from Whittier Law School in Los Angeles where she was a member of the Law Review and received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and the New York State Bar, and a member of the New York City Bar Association.
